The heart of the Japanese people and “Mono no Aware”. Japanese culture.

I would recommend understanding the cultural background when using Japanese.

First of all, what is the state of the Japanese mind? To know it is important.

There is a word “Mono no Aware” in Japan.

“Things”, in other words, We feel “Aware” by experiencing various things. So. “Aware” can be expressed as “to be moved”.

You are impressed by many things. By Looking, listening, enjoying, feeling sad, and do.

“Aware” is sometimes used to show sympathy.

One philosopher described the nature of this “mono no aware” as sympathy, compassion, compassion, and dependence.

It is said that the Japanese spirit includes the desire to “sympathize, be considerate, be pampered, and be considerate of those around you.”

Even when you encourage conversation

They tend to move forward with empathy.

In addition, it is said to be considerate of the other person, to stand in the other person’s position. This is ideal.

Furthermore, rather than working independently, work together with someone. There is such an “amare”.

Even when refusing, they tend to use somewhat roundabout expressions.

For example, if you are asked, “Would you like some coffee?”

They Don’t say, “I don’t drink, I don’t want to.”

“I don’t usually drink coffee. Coffee doesn’t seem to suit my body.”

And so on.

Others tend to avoid judgments, bring up common topics, and listen to the other person’s opinion.

While learning Japanese, I think it is very effective to learn about Japanese culture and the Japanese spirit.

As one of them, it would be effective to know the world of “Mono no Aware”.
